Way back the first Christians, also apostles, thought that they would catch the Second Coming of Christ The Savior in their lifetime.

They treated Christ’s words, “And he said to them, Truly I say to you, There are some here who will have no taste of death till they see the kingdom of God come with power”, in their way and waited for the General Judgement of the naughty world in the earthly life.

Apostles and their warm circle saw the Paradise in their lifetime for real: they were contemplating Resurrected Jesus from the Ressurection to the Ascension.

The Paradise is, where God is. Where is no God - there is verily the hell. The devil in the character of Mephistopheles answers the Faust’s question in the same-name poem: “But how are you out of the realm of hell?” - “Oh, no, The Hell is here, and I’m always in the hell”.

Where God is no longer needed, where He is rejected - there is hell.

Centuries are elapsing, the Christian’s blood flowed like a water, and it’s still flowing. There is no day in human history when Christians don’t bear witness of their faith at the cost of life.

In our enlightened age of humanity, of protection of human rights, where even whole branches of economic activity of governments wither away due to rabid fight for animal protection, Christians, as before, shed blood on land. They’re persecuted, they die for making a profession of faith in Christ.

Here is the question: how long Heaven will stand this?

The thing is that Divine logic and human logic are different. Things which are horrible and prohibitive here are a part of the Divine plan about the human through the prism of eternity.

God had died in terrible agonies having unlimited power and sustainable possibilities. He also died for the most awful villain who will be brought into life through the centuries.

The human is not able and is not ought to understand everything: God gives everyone only what they need for salvation. We have to resign to this fact and not to demand more.

Here is the example - ignorant fishermen, ordinary men sent by God for a sermon with words: “And when you are taken and given up to be judged, do not be troubled about what to say: but whatever is given to you in that hour, say: because it is not you who say it, but the Holy Spirit.”

And they could keep the conversation with the intellectual and spiritual elite: with wisemen from the pagan world, judaic scholar and pharisees, experts of the Holy Scriptures; with those, who devoted their life for reviewing the Revelation. The disciples of Christ expounded in way that opponents were confused.

Various of christian generations were searching for the signs of End Times garbling the prophecies for today’s events, often consciously or not, adding pressure to pre-apocalyptic atmosphere.

There are signs even today. But there were enough of them before. The human history is moving to its very end, there is no doubt.

But how long this process wil lengthen - we are not supposed to know, it’s just reading cofee grounds. Even Angels don’t know, only Heavenly Father knows.

The only thing we can do is to pray God to give us such faith to let those, who we love, live forever, and to let all things in our life be defeated by love.
