Indeed, the destruction of the church world and unity, united by the grace of the Holy Spirit, is an incomparable greatest evil. Any other sin harms the sinner him/herself or the one to whom this sin is directed, but it doesn’t threaten church unity and is not able to shatter the church world. But those who encroach on fraternal unity commit a grave crime not only against people, but also against the Church and God.

Now the enemy of the human race wounds and tears the Church of Christ with the hands of itsservants, conscious or not – timewill tell. But let them not think they are untouchable. Man-hater, the father of lies never pays good for the services rendered to him, and those who betrayed will be absorbed by their own, in fact, patron.

By the fruits we recognize the disciples of Christ: love and peace reign between them. We recognize our enemies by their fruits. Schism, strife, division – notfrom God. Those who sow schism in another’s house will reap schism in themselves. This law is as fundamental as the law of gravity in the material world. Is it really incomprehensible and not obvious what is behind the slogans, words and deeds of those who are in charge of destructive movements and processes? Destruction of themselves. It’s not bad if people don’t know what they are doing, they are sincerely mistaken. Woe to those who consciously embarked on the path of struggle with the Church of Christ.

Venerable Paisios of Mount Athos said: «This century is not in order to live it happily, but in order to pass examsand pass into another life. Therefore, we should have the following goal: to prepare ourselves so that when God calls us, leave with a clear conscience, soar to Christ and be with Him always».

Let us prepare for the meeting, let us live according to our conscience and firmly remember that the Lord will not leave his own people and will not shame them. Never.
