If the Lord gives a person an opportunity to live some age, then this is necessary. So, this particular age is necessary and salvational for him.

Human is like a tree: at the beginning he’s a dead branch after winter, then he’s a kidney, a flower, a green berry, a ripe berry and then a withered berry on the branch.

The hardest thing for human is to accept his age. To adopt this fact. Young people hurry to mature, but matured want to turn back the clock. They do not want to accept their weakness and age changes.

But the soul doesn't have any age! It’s given to a person for eternity, and it won’t get old. The soul can only be filled with the vivific power of God and bear the imprint of God’s beauty.

Any age is gorgeous. Durning youth we have strength, energy, we can do seeable things. In mature age, we have experience and strengths, but the old age is a natural consolation when passions related to youth fade away, and proficiency and wisdom remain. Even sickness is a reason for major wisdom and calm. The body itself pushes us in the eld to praying, to favor, to unreliability on ourselves and our strength. And it unleashes our hands from pride, it pacifies us.

Life is just a bowl of cherries! The Lord is the Lover of Man. He gifted us with countless treasures the main of which is love. And it depends on us whether we learn to love people and life, whether we can not be afraid of age and difficulties seeing in them not only tough stuff, but perfect possibilities, too.

The best age is the age of knowing God. As long as we try to know the Lord, we live.
