If you take a thought — so, how many actions we do under the stress of fear, contrary to logic and common sense, principles and ideals.

But sometimes weshouldjust endure the attacks of fear, and we can remain true to our beliefs, promises.

Fear retreats if you don't hide, but if you look in its eyes. Fear is weak and powerless. It bursts like a soap bubble even with a weak attempt to resist it. But this attempt must be made, instead oflimplycapitulation to him.

There is no fear in pristine human nature, because human is created in God’s likeness. Fear is not from God, it always comes from outside.

Through all the Holy Scriptures there is a call "Do not be afraid!" — from the Book of Genesis to the Book of Revelation.

We read from the prophet Isaiah: «Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support»(Isaiah 41:10).

Christ repeatedly urged his disciples not to be afraid — his disciple the Holy Apostle Peter, when He commanded him to go to meet on the water; frightened and embarrassed disciples when He appeared to them after His Resurrection, as well as strengthening them on the eve of His Ascension. Because, being God and man, He understood how hard it would be for them to overcome all doubts and anxieties.

Fear is a bad adviser in any case, and everything we do will be fruitless and destructive, indulging to it.
